Essentially, this is a large list of links. Some are for the stuff on this site, and
others link my favorite V:tES sites on the net. Oh yeah, V:tES is Vampire: the Eternal
Struggle, a card game originally produced by Wizards of the Coast,
with the storyline (such as it is) and world licensed from White
Wolf. Recently (February 2000), White Wolf bought the rights back, and got the license
from Wizards of the Coast to produce the game.
Why should you care? You probably shouldn't. It's a fun game though, involving a
lot of forethought and careful allocation of your resources. I enjoy it.
First, the things that are on my site:
- The Freak Deck Archive, which is a collection of the
most unusual decks that have seen play
- VEKN Tremere Clan Newletters, my pet project
devoted to showing people how to win with one of the most underrated clans in the game
- Random strategy articles either written for
this website, or gleaned (with permission) from the newsgroup
- Local stuff, including pictures, recent tournaments,
upcoming events, etc.

is a collection of old, but not necessarily out-dated information about the game

- the
newsgroup, aka rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad (or r.g.t-c.jyhad)
- Peter Bakija's website...Peter, as everyone should know by now, is my Immortal Grappling hero

New Orleans, a very attractive page that also includes Communal
Haven a V:tES card-trading site
- Rustwurk, another attractive site that contains
forums and quasi-monthly articles...good stuff
- V:EKN Texas, loaded with goodies, from
the Malk 'n Kookies issues to the best web tool ever, the Monger
- V:tES Atlanta is home of
one of the most prolific V:tES groups, possibly aided by their proximity to White Wolf's
headquarters...this site is also home to the amazing ELDB,
the only real V:tES application
- V:tES in L.A. is home to another rowdy
group of players, and it houses a number of interesting articles and other stuff too
- V:tES Minneapolis is the website for my
current residence
- V:EKN UK original home of the Happy
Families script, and general net-space of James Coupe
- Legbiter's site...I'm not sure what to
say anymore...the joke used to be that Legbiter and I were the strangest posters on the
newsgroup; Legbiter has definitely transcended that designation into something more along the
lines of the most pontifical theorist of the game...he still builds wacky decks, though
- Jyhad On-Line, PBEM, and for a long time,
the only way a number of us got our fix for playing the game; also, at some point before the new expansions came out, a number of people were involved in an Unofficial Virtual Jyhad Expansion
Finally, a few webrings and other minor details. I used to have the old
webring on this page, and the code is still available, but I have included it in a comment
in the source. If you arrive at this page and do not find the webring that you entered through,
send me an email to let me know.
