SOLUTION 4

The poem is written in groups five lines long, and each line has five words. This is intentional, and hopefully you'll also start to notice that some of the five-letter words look similar.

In fact, the only thing that matters is the five-letter words. If you throw away everything else, you will find that each five-letter word only uses on letter that's different from its predecessor.

If you write down the letter that was introduced, you get:

moths -> tombs B
tombs -> storm R
storm -> smart A
smart -> crams C
crams -> scare E
scare -> scale L
scale -> lease E
lease -> tease T
tease -> eases S
