The London Eye
May 2002
  • On May 18th, 2002, my good friend Pauline married her long-time sweetheart, Martin.  The wedding was in London, where they both live, so Jeff and I flew over for the wedding.  Oh, dear, what a bother!  It was a wonderful wedding, and Jeff and I enjoyed visiting London.  We also stopped over in Reykjavik, Iceland for about three days.  HERE are a few pictures from our trip (with more to come).

  • April 2003:  Work has finally begun on scanning all the old family photos.  To view the work thus far click HERE.

  • Last September (2001) Jeff and his friends Steve went on a great bike adventure, riding Route 66 from Iowa to LA!   To read about their mis-adventures visit www.geocities.com/bikingfools

  • The main exciting news in my life is that I am finally freelance, and that Jeff and I bought a townhouse!  We've been unpacking slowly, and now we're preparing to turn the two smaller bedrooms into a very nice office.  C'mon in and visit the destruction.

  • Jeff and I also bought a Toyota Prius, which is a hybrid gas-electric car.  We picked Blur Moon Pearl for the color.  Take a look at our car, or visit the Toyota website.

  • Last summer my cousin Eric McHenry got married in Topeka, Kansas.   If you didn't make it to the wedding, you can enjoy the festivities by clicking HERE.

  • For Christmas Jeff and I visited my mom in Michigan.  My aunt Pat recently moved back to Chelsea, and so we were able to visit with her, and my cousins Trand and Chance.  It was a wonderful time.  Click HERE to see a few pictures from Christmas 2001.

  • In other news, and sadly, my childhood cat, Growltiger, passed away this spring.  Although he was named from one of the T.S. Eliot poems, and at one time had a great snaggle tooth, he by no means lived up to his name:  "Growltiger was a bravo cat who traveled on a barge/ In fact he was the roughest cat that ever roamed at large."  Tiger was quite mellow, and enjoyed taking a nap with you, climbing into bags and under blankets, and, as all cats do, squeaking at birds.  HERE are some pictures of him in his better days.
