The ONG denounce ' alarming situación' of the
natives in the Mexican State of Oaxaca
MADRID. -
The Platform of
Solidarity with Chiapas, Oaxaca and Guatemala has
denounced the "alarming situation" which the indigenous communities
and farmers in the State live on Oaxaca, in the south of Mexico, by
the "misery, the neglect and the violence that in the last time comes
exerting against them", in addition to the silence of the Government
of the State on the matter.
"the communities, organized for the improvement of their
conditions of life (production, feeding, health, education, defense of
its rights...), are being victims of attacks of diverse armed groups:
the military, paramilitary, police and affiliated with the PRI,
that they try to obtain his disappearance, according to the platform.
Persecutions and threats
Also, this organization criticizes the attitude of the
Government of Oaxaca, presided over by Jose Murat, since "far from
supporting or helps to them silences it" and, "silencing it she
promotes it".
In this same line, the Popular Indigenous Committee of
Oaxaca-Ricardo Flores Magón (CIPO-RFM) affirms that "to be a
tenacious enemy of the injustice and to maintain our faithful ideas
and acts to the fight by the freedom and emancipation of the pressed
ones it has represented persecution, threats, harassments, haltings,
imprisonment and death, or as in this case, policy of the terror that
is not put under the turn governments".
In addition, the indigenous denunciation that the government of
Jose Murat has initiated a "war of low intensity" against the ONG and
towns that organize and defend their rights in all the State of Oaxaca
".
Finally, it has assured that "no matter how hard the Government
tries to lock up his dreams and their conscience in a solitary tomb,
it will follow the hope to better continue walking the footpath
towards a society".
