DECLARACI? OF THE MANANTLN MOUNTAIN RANGE
During two d, main, greater, comuneros and ejidatarios agrarian, traditional and civil authorities, as?omo of our communities, along with delegated of diverse organizations ind?nas, we engaged in a dialog with the purpose of approaching our ways, weaving the resistance com?de our towns, to reflect on the problems that to all aquejan to us and to construct solutions.
With great preocupaci?pudimos to observe that the powerful ones of money, in complicity with the Mexican Government, follow empe?os in the extermination of our towns; That our agrarian problems follow without being solved and that our communal and ejidales properties continue being invaded or being broken by the official agrarian programs; That our traditional plants and saberes rob the universities and the great foreign companies single to obtain with them; That our seeds of ma?nativo est?siendo contaminated by ma?s transg?cos that put in nonsingle risk the existing diversity of Creole seeds, but the same life of our communities and his organizaci?tan millenarian as the culture of ma? That by means of represi?y the indigenistas laws, done to the measurement of the interests of those who maintain dominated to us, try to fold our resistance, to destroy our cultures and to rob our territories.
Also, we could conclude that before the bad faith of our opresores, the communities ours follow and fighting still on, making its resistance and fortifying the way of the facts autonom?en.
Understood that the resistance of our towns tom?n new impulse and abri?aminos, like never hab?hecho, in the national society and other towns of the world, from the heroic rise armed of our brothers and sisters of the communities ind?nas of Chiapas that integrate the Ej?ito Zapatista de Liberaci?Nacional, we called to all the towns ind?nas of M?co and to those who participate in the National Congress Ind?na so that we participate activates and enthusiastically in denominated days Twenty and Ten: The Fire and the Word, initiates make some d? in the occasion of fundaci? a does 20, of the Ej?ito Zapatista de Liberaci?Nacional, and of its rise against badly the ten government a does.
Particularly the communities ind?nas of regi?centro and pac?co of the National Congress Ind?na we have decided to add us to days Twenty and Ten: The Fire and the Word, in the occasion of celebraci?de m?iples cumplea? the Ej?ito Zapatista de Liberaci?Nacional and we have decided to make an activity?ca and simult?a in diverse states of regi?para d?22 of December of 2003, with the purpose of celebrating, to engage in a dialog and to continue joining ways.
From this Community of Ayotitl? space of m?iples and old resistance farmers headed by the town n?atl of the Mountain range of Manantl? place where the cruelty of caciques protected by the Government and the Mexican Ej?ito provoc?a bloody death of hundreds of brothers and sisters nahuas throughout all the century XX, whose?co crime was to fight with dignity by the defense of its earth, I mount and waters as opposed to the interests of national and foreign carpenters, from this remote one and forgotten place the south of Jalisco, we sent a brotherly greeting to our brothers and sisters of the Ej?ito Zapatista de Liberaci?Nacional in its double anniversary and we say to them that in our long memory of resistance its worthy word has kept, and in our hearts it has been marked the suffering of his communities, that it is the suffering ours, full of hopes by a M?co in which our towns let be humiliated and be operated.
By?imo, kept in this sacred territory from Manantl?y remembering to the numerous generations of brothers and sisters who have given to their life and its blood to protect these territories of the avarice of the powerful one, WE DECLARED:
First. - That we will follow empe?os in the construcci?plena of ours autonom? ratifying that the AGREEMENTS OF SAN ANDR? they are the CONSTITUCI? OF OUR TOWNS, so and as estableci?a Eighth Assembly of the National Congress Ind?na, on proposal of the Third Reuni?Plenaria of the Regi?Centro Pac?co made in Ranzo Uz?territorio Uz?e San Luis of La Paz, Guanajuato.
Second. - We rejected aprobaci?de any law, the premises or federal, in the matter of rights ind?nas, like which at the moment it is tried to elaborate in the state of Jalisco, whereas the Constituci?Federal does not gather esp?tu of the Agreements of San Andr?
Third. - We firmly supported the long fight of the Community Nahua de Ayotitl?por the recognition of all its territory and demanded of the Judicial Power and the Federal Executive the immediate ejecuci?complementaria of the Resoluci?Presidencial On Dotaci?de Ejidos of this Town. We rejected the despoliation opened of the natural resources of Ayotitl?que daily makes Pe?Colorada Miner, and the despoliation disguised of the natural resources of the Communities of the Mountain range of Manantl? to trav?de the studies of bioprospecci?que make the Direcci?de the Reserve of the Biosphere Mountain range of Manantl?/b > and the transnational Monsanto.
Quarter. - In its first anniversary, we supported with the Municipality Aut?mo de Suljaá, Guerrero, where a self-government ind?na amuzgo, without legal recognition and supports of government, constituy?ace an a? making of the Agreements of San Andr?su law. Also we ratified our support to the Commissariat of Community goods Aut?mo and to the Wix?tari Community of Banks of San Hip?to, Durango, in the fight by the recognition of its territory in front of the racially mixed caciques who fraudulently have themselves appropriate of their earth. On the other hand we demanded respect of the Government for the President Municipal named by uses and customs in the Municipality of Tlanepantla, Morelos.
Fifth. - We demanded the immediate cease of represi?en it against of our brothers and sisters of Popular the Ind?na Council of Oaxaca Ricardo Mag Flowers? of the communities that integrate it and of their leaders, permanently persecuted by the State Government; tambi?exigimos the cease of represi?en it against of the popular movement ind?na and in Oaxaca and liberaci?de our brothers ind?nas of Uni?Hidalgo, Guevea de Humboldt and the Loxichas, on the part of the repressive Jos?urat, that to deber?er punished by his sistem?ca they acci?en against of the towns ind?nas and his rights. Also we added ourselves to the exigency of the agrarian authorities and civil of San Pedro Yosotato so that it is punished his aggressors, it is restituted to them totally in his agrarian rights and are presented/displayed with life the disappeared mixtecos brothers makes a d.
Sixth. - We demanded the immediate MORATORIUM, within the national territory, in introducci? comercializaci?y culture of seeds of ma?transg?co, and we called to the communities ind?nas and farmers so that seeds under suspicion prevent in their territories introducci?de and protect, they conserve and they multiply its Creole seeds.
S?imo. - We called to all the towns ind?nas of pa?a not to back down in dif?l undertaken way and to continue constructing and fortifying the National Congress Ind?na like the House of Our Towns.
