Vinnie: lyrics, drums, pez

The band's pez fascination starts here. Vinnie writes most of the lyrics and has been a pez collector for years. So inevitably his fascination creeps into a few songs. If you think this is all hype check out the Pez tattoo from his leg.

Despite being a core member of the band, he's always hidden behind the drumset, so odds are good this is all you'll ever see of him.
Chris: vocals, guitar, metal, costumes.

Breaks guitar strings at a rate of about one per two songs. Obsessed with 80s metal, and not in a joking kind of way. Who else in 1998 has pull out posters from Circus and Heavy Metal covering their walls. As for the costumes, at any show odds are good he's spent 30 minutes putting on an elaborate outfit and wig, and that he'll end up throwing it aside 1 minute into the first song.
Roger: vocals, bass, pez, toys

Now sharing equal microphone time with Chris, 'the twigster' plays bass as well. On stage he runs around scaring the horns by jumping of the drumset riser. The apartment that he and Shaun share is literally covered wall to wall with their combined toy collections. Recently he's gotten heavily into Pez collecting as well, and is starting to give Vinnie's collection serious competition.

I've been busted for not mentioning that Roger has a Pez tattoo on his leg and that it is older than Vinnie's.
Buddy: trombone

The most senior of the horns answers to the name 'Goldfinger' and has done so for years. Several times when asked to give an autograph this causes a problem. When the kid finally reads it he assumes Buddy being a jerk and joking about the band Goldfinger. Seriously -- it is his name.
Derron: Barritone Sax, Star Wars

One leg, one room, and two cats -- shrines to all things Star Wars related. Jan 98 he finished a wrap around tattoo of the trilogy. Now he's thinking of doing another one about the next three movies. His poor wife has to live in a apartment where 1/3 of the space is filled with a collection that would make Lucas jealous. Ask him about the cats yourself.
Shaun: Full Time Roadie, Part Time Piercer, circus escapee

A toy junkie, a tattoo canvas, and the guy who's job it is to keep the chaos onstage just below critical mass. On stage he's either crouched down in hiding, or he's throwing out stuffed animals and working the toilet paper gun.

And while he looks angry here, he's probably the most easy-going member.
Pete - trombone
Formerly with Slapstick, he has been playing for the Florida shows and the Jan/Feb 98 tour. You can find him as the guy in the green hat and sweater. I believe he is auditioning LTJ and they're auditioning him to see if he might become a permanent member.

Jessica Mills - alto-sax
Played with ltj for 4 years. Having left in Fall 97, she's currently writing and playing with the Crustaceans.
Lars
of Skankin Pickle and 78RPMs joined LTJ to fill in for Jessica during the winter tour following Jessica's departure. Currently with his other bands.
At shows you may find a few more wierdos with the troupe, and I'm proud to say I'm sometimes one of them. Classics include the Skankin Bear, Howard J Reynolds, the Gay Cowboy, Glen Steffani, the guy with the big red hair, Jake 3:16, the helmet kid, Will Fuck for Tix, Lil' Puddy and a bazillion others.

We wholeheartedly encourage you to come to shows with/in your best 'thing' because its fun to watch the freakshow, but its even better to be in it.
